This Poster was created for an AIGA design week of events. These events scheduled through out the week are targeted toward graphic design students to learn more about the design world after college, also allowing them to network and explore design companies in the local area. 

This design was created with the inspiration from the Nottingham lace font. The lace font is very complex and intricate, leading me to the noun  complicated irregular network of passages or paths in which it is difficult to find one's way. While designing the back layout was more challenging then front due to the about of body copy that had to be included for five days of events. 

For the design graphics within this poster I chose a grayscale color pallet as it led your eye in and out of the design but did not take from the actual purpose of the poster in the title.  The back of the poster has the headings and times vertical to make the spacing flow easier and group the days together. The time is coming off the page with a drop shadow to  make sure that it is seen and given a pop of color to attract the eye while breaking up the events within each day.
